There are many Christmas Markets happening around the island at the moment including; Deya, Puigpunyent, Valledemossa, Santa Ponsa, Alaro, Manacor and Puerto Portals. The city of Palma has several markets dotted around in; Plaza Mayor, Ramblas, Plaza Porta Pintada, Plaza Oliver and Plaza Espana. Here you can buy gifts for Christmas, handicrafts, and usually festive food and drink. Open from 10am to 9pm Monday to Sunday and runs until 6th January 2012.
In addition there is a temporary ice-skating rink near the Plaza Espana train station until 31st January 2012, so fun for all the family.
