New location for GOSH hairdressers in Portals Nous

GOSH Hair Projects has this month moved their salon from Portals Plaza to the main street of Ctra. Palma-Andratx here in Portals Nous.  They now well located opposite the Hotel Marina Portals.

Open from 9am til 7pm (and from April until 8pm!) Monday to Saturday, their newly extended hours will be a benefit to customers who want to spend their days out and about then early evening go to the hairdressers.

Owner Karen and manager Lorraine have many years of experience in the hairdressing business.  The salon has been renovated in a funky modern style with a touch of rustic on the walls!

Stocking the well renowned PAUL MITCHELL hair products, including tea-tee for the men, they are one of few salons on the island offering this hair care system.     Customers can purchase the items in the salon, and if not available can be ordered and delivered within 48 hours.

New 4-star deluxe hotel for Puerto Portals/Portals Nous

Finally the new hotel in Puerto Portals/Portals Nous has been revealed.  It will be a 4-star deluxe hotel, part of the OD Hotels collection, a brand belonging to Ocean Group (a member of the Design Group) 

OD Port Portals is due to open 1st April 2014 and will be open all year round. Offering exclusive and personalized services such as chauffeur service or a car with every Junior Suite. Serving health-conscious cross-over cuisine with Asian, Latin American and European influences, the à-la-carte restaurant will be decorated with classic furnishings in muted hues and soft lighting.  Breakfast will be served until 12 noon.   Free Wi-Fi in rooms and public areas.

There are a total of 77 rooms, ranging in size from 21m2 up to 40m2.  Pets less than 5kg will be accepted upon request.

New 4 star hotel for Portals Nous: Palace Portals Hotel

A new hotel is coming to Portals Nous.   The former "Es Vida" building next to Las Terrazas has today put up its new sign at the front door:  "Portals Palace Hotel". 4 stars with 110 rooms. Some of the rooms will have glorious sea views and over to Puerto Portals marina.  A couple of minutes walk to the village centre of Portals Nous, and a 10 minute walk down to the fashionable marina.  No other news yet re the hotel, or when it will open, but I will post more details when they are announced.
